My precious Bella is a designer breed, Maltese-Poodle, rescued from a puppy mill. I made the mistake of giving her a taste of chicken. From that point on, all she wanted was people food. I tried everything to get her to take nutritious dog food. Didn’t work. Kibble, wet dog food of all sorts, you name it. I even tried delicious tuna packed in spring water and gala apples, Bella snuffed it down. Didn’t work.

Then I gave her a piece of some beef jerky that she loved and instantly, she sprung up and began to eat dog food. Thank you Beefeater!

So we all want our dogs to love their jerky treats, hoping they would eagerly grab them, and carry them over to their bed for a chew away. Especially when you are in the kitchen cooking or you are sitting down to eat.

For me, all the meaty treats I tried on Bella, she unfortunately sniffed them… pulled back and cocked her fuzzy head to one side, shot me a “what the heck is this” look that frankly caught me totally off guard! And dumped the jerkies on me.

Now if you want your dog’s tails wagging at snack time! Let me share some 4 wholesome tips on what makes Beefeater Jerky Strips the best dog meat you can get.

  1. Best Quality and Freshness

The Beefeater Jerky Strips is so tasty, comes fresh and flavorful, not too dried out and not too hard. Soft and pliable, not brittle. Your dog will find the jerky thick enough to chew on, and it smells delicious. Its so easy to cut up with scissors if you want smaller treats.

If your dog was used to getting jerkies that looked so stretched and thin that you could see through the dog meat, then your furry pal will love the Beefeater Jerky Strips. You get 3oz in a pack.

If you want something that would last a while as a treat not just two bites and gone. These definitely work and your dogs will enjoy them. I might surprise you to say, my Bella now only would rather eat this snack then cooked chicken.

The Beefeater Jerky Strips comes packed with nutrient including: Crude Protein / min 60.0%, Crude Fat / min 1.0%, Crude Fiber / max 5.0%, Moisture / max 20.0%, Calories Content / 2840 kcal/kg. You may also find it in many flavors including chicken or beef. Cooked with the finest ingredients, without additives or preservatives, meaning very few side effects for your dog.

  1. Natural, Tasty Surprise

My dog loves these treats! I usually cut them up and put them inside a Kong Genius toy. My dog will work at it for hours if needed to get these treats out. You can put a single strip in, or fold them up to increase the challenge.

If you get the chicken flavor, this dog meat is super tasting, with real whole muscle chicken that is an ideal treat for your pooch. This is a long-lasting chew. Please make sure your dog has plenty of water to drink with this treat. Not for dogs under 5 lbs. in weight.

Your furry pal deserves the same goodness that comes from all-natural food. Just like us, their food should be made of wholesome ingredients that are sourced from free allergens meat, without any grain and soy additives. Likewise, the Beefeater Jerky Strips treats are guaranteed to keep your pet happy.

Well, my Bella loves them and I have them on auto ship monthly and give her one a day and they make it to the next shipment. I cut them in half-length wise so she thinks she is getting more. My bag has a date they are usually about a year out give or take a month.

The scent is a good smoky scent very strong in good way. I also give Bella one at a time as dog meat treat when she’s been really good. Bella goes nuts when treat time comes. It’s great for her training and getting her to cooperate.

  1. Easily Digestible:

The Beefeater Jerky Strips come with a high meat percentage, which makes it easy for your dog to digest. Natural dog meat is the easiest thing any dog has been able to digest since ancient times. You can show your dogs extra love and care with these long-lasting chews. Perfect for getting rid of nasty plaque and tartar that can cause gum problems and other dental diseases. Even your fussiest dogs will keep coming back for more!

The Beefeater Jerky Strips also promotes healthy joints and hips for your dog. Not only will your dog love the flavor and have fun chewing on their healthy dog meat, the healthy jerkies are packed with glucosamine and chondroitin to ensure strong joints and hips. They’re a wonderful alternative to supplements that keep your canines in tip-top condition.

Even though Bella seems to love the Beefeater Jerky Strips more than other treats. I try to limit the number per day since too much appears to loosen her stool consistency

  1. Cleans Teeth

If you get the Beefeater Jerky Strips beef flavor, each treat is about 11 inches long, 2 inches wide. Bella, Maltese poodle, can eat one in five minutes or so. Bella loves these treats and I’ve never seen them make her sick. The dog meat treat, is a great way to build healthy chewing habits. My dog, Bella, loves these consistently. They are kind of wide so I cut them in half lengthwise for her. Her teeth are old and she can still chew these. Her favorite!

It is worthwhile to note they are treats, not food so… however many you would like. To be used as treats. The meat jerkies are a good chewing texture, are quite substantial, and they are all meat protein. They are a bit dry so I would encourage your dog to drink water after and watch them so they chew it all well before swallowing.

I assume my Bella loves the taste by the speed with which she devours these treats but then again she eats lizards as well. Go figure. Yep. I am quite pleased with customer service from my online shop that delivers these meat Jerkies, Norita Pets as well – they easily resolve all minor issues to my satisfaction.

One delivery day, my dog meat package arrived broken and open. I contacted Norita Pets and they instantly sent me another one. They were so polite. Bella loves them, a friend introduced us to these treats, and while they may sound a bit pricey, they’re a great treat that my Bella can’t stop her tail wagging at treat time.

Some chews can be risky and your dog may have a hard time swallowing, as in choking. Especially if the chews are tough like rawhide, which makes them dangerous for any size dog. Yet my Bella has had no problem swallowing Beefeater Jerky Strips.

Bella doesn’t wolf food down and she chews her food.  I’ve never seen Bella so excited for a treat before, that she actually stares at me while dancing around when she knows she is going to get one! She has it chewed up in five minutes tops! Then tries begging for more!

I would rather have her take Beefeater Jerky Strips than raw hide bone chews as I have seen the later leaving a trail of half a dozen gross partly chewed “treats” all over the house.

The only issue I find with Beefeater Jerky Strips, is that my floors are marble tiled. Once any meat falls flat out of Bella’s mouth onto the marbled floors, Bella struggles endlessly and it becomes irritable. Due to it being almost entirely impossible for her to pick the wafer-thin like jerky treats up with her own mouths.

Sometimes I have had to intervene because she ends up being incapable of doing much aside from licking at these doggone treats, which end up saliva-stuck to my hardwood and marble floors. Sound weird? Yes, it truly is odd as hell. It’s gross to watch Bella slop spit all over the floor while she largely chases the darn treat across the floor until it hits the baseboard or ends up under the edge of furniture. Not fun….for me or for her!

Bella is just flat out a silly dolt, sometimes. She’ll drop a treat–regardless of type–usually 2 or 3 times before finally getting herself situated to sit or lay calmly and chew! Well, okay, so it’s that, or sometimes she basically inhales some things and freaks me out because I will be fully expecting her to choke to death one day. These meaty treats being so papery-thin.

Also, I spoil my Bella and buy far too many toys and treats. The Beefeater Jerky Strips… for whatever reason are Bella’s #1 favorite. Hands down. They go fast though. She gobbles them and empties the bag fast! So not great if you’re looking for a low cost long chew treat.

If long chew value is what you need, I advise you to stuff strips of Beefeater Jerky Strips inside a toy so your beloved dog has to work at getting to it and that seems to help with longevity. Also good for your dog’s brain stimulation.
